What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free, on site survey to assess a problem, situation or opportunity for improvement. Then we propose a solution or service for customer consideration, including time and cost. We answer all questions prior to work and do not consider the job done until the customer is satisfied.
There is never any fine print or commitments. Our service is based on personalized attention.

How did you get started in this business?
Many small businesses should not need to keep a technician on staff waiting for an issue to arise. The cost of a full time technician is best spent growing the business. Roark Management provides tech support only when it's needed and we back up all our work. Our growth is organic, based on the many referrals we received from satisfied clients.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently we helped a client with a cyber security threat assessment. We found several vulnerabilities as well as a lack of informed best practices. After receiving our proposal to close the gaps the client had questions about moving forward in stages. We helped with priority, making the merits and risks clear. Soon after we began closing the gaps our clients competitor was the victim of a ransom attack. While the two are not linked, our client was very happy they instituted some changes to help protect their firm.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Seek a free assessment to understand precisely what and why you need technology support. Ensure it is explained to you in business terms and not technical terms. Avoid long term commitments and always seek references.
Technology is a tool for your business to help you operate efficiently, remain competitive and provide the best service to your customers. Technology decisions, therefore, should always serve these objectives.

The most important questions is "What problem am I trying to solve?"
Of course, if there is an issue that makes it obvious, but a small business should also ask:
