Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet them personally, either in the home or in our shop. Provide them with business card, promotional items such as pens and letter openers. In sure that I have their complete address and contact information. Insure that I have any require log on passwords for their laptops or PCs. Give them a little about my qualifications and background experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years experience as a Field Tech Rep with the NCR Corporation. 10 years worked with a high tech mobile data terminal manufacture. 6 years working as a technical adviser to sales with a software company. 13 years in my own computer repair business. Completed CTIA training and certification testing to achieve A+ and Network + certification certificates.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, rates are posted on our website. We have hourly rates for in shop service and rates for in-home/office service. We also have many flat-rate services that can be more economical than by-the-hour charges. Our rates are the best in the Buffalo area.
Travel within 15 miles is free.
How did you get started in this business?
I was laid off when the last company I worked for dropped a product. With all my experience and background in service and computer repair, I decided to start my own business in 2005. That has grown to include almost 1100 customers on my client list.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home computer users, small bussiness users, and small offices.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
Not a project, but with the newest Microsoft Operating System (Windows 10) I have had the opportunity to upgrade many many laptops and PCs. I am extremely familiar with Windows 10.
