Working very closely with the client, almost on personal level. Provide realistic pricing, time-frames expectations

My employment history includes the following:

General construction, painter, plumber, PC/Mac/Internet/Printer repair guy, Hotel Crew/NYC Restaurant waiter, Medical Office Management, HIT, Fedex Delivery, Unemployed Father, Pharmacy Manager/Billing consultant, Geological Research Drilling, and the last but not the least Schmuck with four wheels.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

If its 30 minutes away from where I live (no tolls) then it's $60/hour for just me, additional helpers are $20 additional each helper.

If it's longer than 30 minutes away I charge a small travel fee plus tolls.

If it's long distance then the price is negotiable

ask as many questions as you can, the main one is if the mover has truck big enough and if he packs things

How much stuff do I have? Do I need all of that? How will all this fit into the semitruck I ordered?
