My fiancé and I started using Soul Maids 8 months ago. Eleanor has been coming every two-three weeks, and has been excellent.

When we first started working with Eleanor, we made a clear and thorough list of what we wanted her to use & what we wanted her to focus on. It took a few times of her coming to get the swing of things, and her routine- but that is to be expected with anyone starting a new job. She always does a great job focusing on the areas Ive prioritized, and every now and then, she surprises me by going above and beyond.

We have also had the pleasure of working with Ruth when Eleanor is away- and she is fantastic as well!

Soul Maids offers great services for a great price! I highly recommend Miranda & her team.

Quick update on Soul Maids: Tracy has been cleaning our house every two weeks for a little while now, and we love her. When she was recently off for a bit, Natasha came to replace her. Natasha was very good: arrived a bit late the first time, but since she knew Id be home she texted to let me know and it was no big deal. She finished in three hours, did a very thorough job, and came two more times before Tracy was back. And it was all very easy to schedule with Miranda.

Like a few reviewers others here, Im confused by some of the poor reviews that complain about rooms not being organized for you. All you need to do is ask for the specifics you require and then understand that all those things will add more time.

This is the first review Ive written in a couple of years -- trust me, it takes a lot to get me onto Yelp! But I was so impressed by Colleens work today. I am in the process of moving into a shared apartment space that was truly grody, and Colleen was willing to accommodate my schedule -- showing up on a Sunday and working diligently and quickly to mop the floors and scrub all bathroom and kitchen surfaces (some of which Id pre-cleaned, but not to such a level that Id have expected shed be done so quickly and efficiently).

I honestly would have paid much more for the level of service Colleen so cheerfully provided and am anticipating booking Soul Maids again on occasions when my apartment needs a sprucing up. Trust me, my new apartment was an ugly job -- set-in grime on floors, bathrooms that were just yuck-inducing -- and Colleen was quick, pleasant, and supremely confident. Highly recommended.

I just had Soul Maids clean my apartment in East Williamsburg - and I was amazed when I came home after work! First of all, Miranda is a great coordinator and our Maid, Natasha, showed up on time. I gave her specific instructions and she exceeded my expectations! We have bad mildew in our bathroom and she got it ALL out. The apt is small so we paid $60 for 3 hours - SO worth it!

You have to supply the cleaning products but its no big deal.

We left her there alone for 3 hours and she is totally trustworthy. Like I said, we came home and were amazed at how spotless, clean and tidy our entire apartment was.

I highly recommend Soul Maids... will be contracting with them again!

I have been using Soul Maids and in particular, we request Ruth, for about two years and she is not only the nicest lady but she is more fanatically clean than I am! I always love having her come, she is trustworthy, timely and so gentle with our pets! our two bedroom apartment used to sparkle and we have a very hairy cat! We have moved and have just booked for her to come clean the new place! I also have never met Miranda but she is very professional and easy to communicate with. This is a great service.

The customer tells me what work they require,how many hours they think it will take and I give them a quote. They give me their address and day and time they want somebody to come. I tried to send the same housekeeper each time.
