What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Definitely talk on phone or email depending on their preference.Get the particulars on their needs and what they want done.Set up initial cleaning.I always try to work with their schedule as best I can.Its important for both of us to have a good clean house.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years cleaning experience in both residential industrial and commercial cleaning.I have a hazmat certificate in chemicals and bloodborne pathogens.
I have 8 months training from Scotbrite on floors and can wax and buff Commercial Floors.I worked with Con Am Properties and went through their cleaning and janitorial cleaning classes.The areas they covered were proper cleaning technics different types of floors.countertps, Soap scum removal. hard water stains on shower doors.
We had to work in several homes and pass with a 90 percent.It was a great experience. I owned my business in Colorado for 22 years and was very sucessful.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Well not necessarily I base my prices mostly on the square footage and if there is pets, children,the type of cleaning is needed.
How did you get started in this business?
well i wanted to be my own boss and do what I enjoy so cleaning was what I wanted to do so young and curious years ago I went to work with several cleaning services to see what they had to offer!!Not impressed with their cleaning process or their customer service I finially went on my own.Love what I do...
What types of customers have you worked with?
Well most have been very pleasant and most Im very comfortable with.I have work with Doctors, Lawyers,Stay at home moms who needed a little extra help.I work closely now with Property Management Company and I do all their rental move outs.I clean a warehouse,I also clean a professional office building.So I have a broad spectrum of clients.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you feel comfortable with that person or company and make sure their willing to meet your needs and request.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think the clearer you are about what you need and communicate your pet peaves and past experiences it makes it much easier on all sides.
Communication is a great help and not being afraid to ask for exactly what you need.
