FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our first step is to identify the problem. If it can be handled remotely, and the customer agrees, we install teamviewer software and login to the customer's computer. At this point the problem is solved with the cutomer's verification and then payment is rendered using square or apple pay.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Kyle McHattie has decades of informal training as well as A+ Certification training, Microsoft Network+ training and MCSA training.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

We charge $50 per hour for onsite and in-house work. Remote service is a minimum of $10 and $1 per minute with most jobs falling in the range of 20-30 minutes.

How did you get started in this business?

We saw a need to service consumers and small businesses who weren't being served effeciently. RE-NEWPC started business in September of 2010 to fill that need.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We serve customers and small businesses in every sector.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I have a favorite customer who had a problem with wifi dropouts in his home. His ring doorbell was disconnecting often. We installed a new router and wifi extension and he now has faster speeds and no disconnections.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Make sure you hire a technician with a lot of experience. Billing can get expensive if your tech takes a lot of time to troubleshoot and solve the problem.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

What exactly is the problem? Is your internet down? Will your computer not startup at all, or are you just unable to login to windows? Being specific can save a lot of time.
