We pride ourselves in 35 years of serving the community from radios and record players to computers , televisions , monitors , lamps and even once in London a horse drawn carriage which needed rear lights fitting . What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Usually we can get ah idea of the length of repair within a couple of days , obvioudly dur to parts availabikity etc .

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All engineers are trained on specific items . The proprietor having a PhD and experince of some 40 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

All items are looked at first , inspected and given a report if the item is worth repairing and will last . If so there is no charge for a quote .

How did you get started in this business?

I was always obsessed with engineering like my grandfather who taught me a lot . I then did a degree in electronic engineering in England , started my company up then went to M.I.T and opened up on the United States as well . We have had items sent from 51 various countries around the world as I have specialist engineers I've trained and hundreds of thousands of spares we will even manufacture if possible .

What types of customers have you worked with?

From Royalty (literally) to representing and being authorized by nearly all manufacturers and stores . Obviously the general public as well .

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

A horse and carriage (yes) which was brought in with faulty lights . A simple job but the horse wasn't amused . On a more complicated end , government equipment we cover for . Also old toys and gramophones , 1920's collectors radios which can source the tubes/valves for .

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Check their background ; see if they know what they're doing and their honesty .

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Is it worth repairing .
How long will it last .

Whats the engineers genuine point of view ( ours will always give it , that's why people come back )
