For more than a decade, it has been my privilege to work with Jim Taylor and his great team at Jakes Power Washing. Through the years I have watched how Jim uses his vast knowledge and intuitive skill to blend nature and materiel into something that withstands time, a project that grows through the years, always with constant care and attention to detail. There is no other choice for us, when we need something, no matter the scale of the project, I know we are in more than capable hands with Jim and his staff. I personally know Jim to be an outstanding craftsman and an honest, genuine person who puts the needs of his clients first and foremost. I wouldn’t dream of working with anyone else.

The first project that I scheduled was more than ten years ago. I gave Jim a simple diagram and a description of what I envisioned. It was a very large and involved project, and improvements had to be made to correct drainage issues. Jim planned and drew a professional landscape design that was beautiful. EP Henry pavers were installed in the driveway and walkways. Additional pavers created large patios in the front and back of our home. He constructed a cascading waterfall and pond and added a fountain water feature on the front patio. A new fence was installed around the perimeter of the property, landscape lighting was installed and low walls of the pavers make convenient seating. Finally, sod was installed on the entire yard, after the drainage issues were resolved. The team maintained a neat and tidy work site throughout the whole construction process. The finished project far exceeded my expectations and my family has enjoyed the result for many years. I have continued to use this family operated company for the many serviced they provide, and have never been disappointed. They are always prompt, their estimates are reasonable and the staff are polite and respectful.

We have used JPW for spring and fall cleanups, tree and shrub trimming, new landscape plantings, drainage control and hardscaping projects. Jim has installed extensive hardscaping for us, some that’s more than 10 years old now and still looks good. Their crews work professionally, and clean up after themselves too.
