We are a family owned business in Clemmons NC and Jack is a third generation builder. Angie is the friendly voice you will hear each time you call. As we like to say, each of our clients past present and future, we are all a part of this big family the Conrad & Conrad Inc. family. We are confident you will be proud of your newely completed project. We want you informed about your project, its design and cost and that is why we spend the extra time to get it right before the first nail is driven. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Give Angie a call at 336-462-4192 or go to our webpage and fill out the form submission page to set an appointment for Jack to come and see what you want.
Jack will put an estimate together and write a proposal according to the first meeting. Then we will email or mail you a copy of it. If you like waht you see, JAck will visit with you a second time to go over the proposal and adjust it to best fit your needs and budget plus guide you in selecting materials and fixtures.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As all licensed General Contrctors, we all have to take continuing education courses to keep our license current. We also take classes and seminars to keep current on new trends and materials. Always like to learn.
Jack is a graduate of West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC. He is aslo a graduate of East Carolina University where he majored in Industrial Technology with a Business minor. Jack worked for his dad's builing company through high school and college and upon graduation full time as a carpenter apprentice. Jack became a Licensed General Contractor in 1987 and has been building, remodeling and repainr homes since.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No, we do not have a set price for any of our service. Each project we do is so unique we have to do a materials take-off on each estimate and get materials pricing. This way you know what the cost of the project will be. By doing this it helps avoid confusion and you know exactly what you are getting.
How did you get started in this business?
Jack is a third generation builder so he spent alot of time on job sites with his dad playing with dirt and wood and it became a part of who he is.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have completed residenbtial budget repair and remodeling projects to high end projects plus commercial remodeling and additions.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Each project we complete, we develope a very close friendship with the family. When we see the pride and satisfaction on their faces with their finished project, it gives us joy. So each job is very rewarding and we feel comfortable seeing the faimly again and not have to feel like we need to avoid them. They are as part of our family.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
We encourage each potential client we vist with to check us out with the local BBB, make sure they have General Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance to protect themselves and you. We also encourage them to check out our webpage... and get to know who we are.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The customers needs a pretty good idea of what their actual need or want and a budget. This helps us on the inital visit. We can see what they have and direct them on what is possible.
