About
Established in 1968, We are a Design-Install-Maintain Landscaping Nursery. The owners have a BS Degree in Ornamental Horticulture from NCSU, a NCLCLB NC Landscape Contractors License, and a NCICLB NC Irrigation Contractors License.
Perkins' Landscaping & Irrigation is a 'turn-key' company. The services we perform are (but not limited to): Horticultural Consultation; Site Evaluation (pre and post construction); For Buyers/Sellers---Landscape, Irrigation and Lighting Inspections (with written report); Design; Grading; Hardscaping---walkways, patios, retaining walls; Irrigation and Lighting System installation; Installation of Trees, Shrubs, Plants; Turf Installation and Refurbishment; Mulch Installation; and Maintenance of all of the above.
Most of our services are for customers in the Wake and Surrounding Counties area but we have been requested to do projects in Sneads Ferry, Topsail Island, Lake Gaston, Greensboro, Sanford/Southern Pines, Wilmington and Charlotte.

As Stewards of the Land, we get great satisfaction from creating Landscapes that are sustainable and blend in with their natural surroundings. Our use of appropriate plant materials set at proper spacing gives landscapes that are still in excellent, not overgrown, condition with the original plant materials from even 30 years ago. Our ability to do problem solving where others before us have failed is personally satisfying.

We meet for a consultation on the site.
A detailed estimate for the work/project is emailed to the customer.
When accepted, the work is performed in accordance with the best Landscaping and Irrigation practices for this area.
