How did you get started in this business?

I had worked in and Photographic studio for ten years and decided I did not like working in dim or dark lighting situations. I really liked being outdoors in any kind of weather so landscaping and lawn service seemed like a good fit, so at age 50 i went back to school and got my degree in Horticulture and started my company. As an added bonus, I get to see the resuts of my labor and effort the end of the day.

What types of customers have you worked with?

90% Residential

10% Commercial

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Always ask the contractor tha you decide on to have their insurance carrier to send you a copy of their workman Compensation and Commercial Liabilty Policy. If their insurance company sends these policy's then you know the premium has been paid. If the contractor gives you a copy of the policy there is no way to tell if the poilicy is currently in effect.

Always ask if the contractor and their company is registered with the state of NC and what their License numbers are.
