What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting them at the project site to determine their wants and needs for the project.
as in:
color choices
what repairs are needed, if any?
estimation of how much time the project will take.
estimation of how much product will be needed.
I have deveolped through the years a good eye for color.
I have access to all colors. the paint stores most generally can match anything.
And most of all making sure that the customer is satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began painting in 1997 as a helper.
In 2003 I decided to take the business on myself, (with a big leap of faith).
I've seen paint products change in price and in ingredients.
Theres isn't to many things I am not able to do, if I am not able, I know someone that is.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I can price by square footage or by room.
I prefer to meet the customer at the project, there can be many factors related to the pricing that a customer might not understand.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All age groups.
All income levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
not related to business-my first grandaughters 9th birthday.
business related- an exterior job in Concord-featued on my facebook page with a review from the customer.(she has been a customer since 2009.)
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
To meet them and know them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How long have they been in business?
Do they use subcontractors?
Do they offer a warranty and are they insured?
Can they provide references?
Do they have a pictures of past jobs?
What brands of paint do they use?
