What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will make contact with a customer and gather additional details about the service needed. If we don't already have this information from the request, we will ask for the model, version, and/or serial number of the unit needing service so that part information can be obtained. If the request requires it, we will then make arrangements to come to the customer and make a diagnosis of the issue. Once a part is ordered and arrives (if needed), we will go to the customer's location to complete the service.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Diagnosis - $35
Part install completing the request - $45
Trip charge (if traveling over 40 miles) - $15
How did you get started in this business?
Was a TV repair tech with a company that has since gone out of business. I also studied computer/electronic repair in college.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure to have your model, version, and or serial number available. This will assist in locating part information for your unit in order to get an idea of what your repair might cost.
