Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet onsite face to face to make sure I understand completely what the client wants for a succesful project. Once a scope of work is agreed to with the client we discuss schedule and then proceed with the work when it is conveniet for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My partner(Pat) and I have over 40 years of combined construction experience. I attended UW-Stout and studied construction as my major. In addition to that both Pat and I have taken numerous additional trade and leadership classes to make sure we stay up to date on the newest techniques and ensure we can provide exceptional value to every client.
How did you get started in this business?
I started in construction when I was 10 years old as my dad's trusty flashlight holder and gopher as he constructed our house. That peaked my interest in construction, from there I went on to work for my uncle with his construction business eventually heading to UW-Stout. Once there I continued to work out in the field to help pay my way through college. Upon graduation I took a job as a project manager and have been doing construction ever since.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your due dillegence and make sure the contractor is the right fit for you and your project. Cost while important should not be your only consideration. Look at the value, expertise and follow through before, during and after a project to make sure you get the right contractor.
