    The quality of the work performed. The crew did an exceptional job in repairing defects in the wall surfaces to be painted. They found exceptions that we had never noticed previously. The finished job was always top quality, completed on-schedule, and for the price quoted. Mint Painting did two large projects for us in our home which we purchased in June, 2016. The first job was in late 2016, and included in completely repairing and painting all but two rooms. The second job in 2017 included painting the remaining bedroom and selected exterior portions of the house. I would highly recommend contacting Mint Painting for your painting needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

In order to provide the client with an accurate estimate, we need to schedule a walk through to determine the scope of work, customer expectations, timeline and overall project goals and details.  Once we have viewed the space and determined the needs of the client, we will prepare a free written estimate or proposal.  Upon approval, we will schedule the project with our production division and get to work on the agreed upon date.  We keep the client informed daily until the project is completed.  Job site clean up and a final walk through to make sure nothing was missed are the last steps for a job well done!


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Each member of our team has many years of experience.  Our team members are employees, not sub-contractors or day laborers.  We are constantly gaining information on new products, application techniques, advances in new equipment and work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to make sure we are up on the latest innovations in the industry.  We have an ongoing safety program for all employees to make our job sites safe.

Each project is different, so in order to provide an accurate estimate, we do need to visit the site and prepare a proposa; and quote for the client's specific needs.


How did you get started in this business?

After working for several years in the industry as a painter, I made the decision to start my own company where I could hire the best and most talented team who could provide our clients with outstanding results each and every time.


What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with homeowners, city maintenance managers, builders, remodelers, designers, decorators, real estate professionals, commercial building managers, construction project managers to name a few.


What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Be sure you get the most VALUE from the professional you hire.  Evaluate the potential contractor on more than just "price".  Are they a real company or just a weekend part-time handyman who paints on Friday and fixes irrigation on Saturday?  Do they carry and maintain general liability and .worker's compensation insurance?  Are they knowledgeable and experienced?  Check references.


What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

It is a good idea to consider the timing.  For example, exterior projects are normally in production from early May through October, so plan accordingly to get estimates submitted and a decision made so your project can get completed during the season.

Consider your budget. Is it a project that needs to be completed all at once or would you like it broken into phases?
