About
I love houses! Everything about them . . . the comfort they bring after a hard day's work, the satisfaction of a space made personal, the way certain rooms can make people gather together . . .
Maybe it's because I grew up in a neighborhood filled with little cookie-cutter houses. Even as a child, I loved seeing how neighbors could put unique finishes in different rooms of their homes, then I'd race back to rearrange my parent's furniture! Everyone had a distinct style, but pride was the common denominator.
My passion for architecture led me to Wayne State University. There I learned how to put the vision in my head down on paper . . . and then bring them to life! During my studies, I was fortunate enough to intern at Rossettii Associates. Working with the very talented architects and designers of the firm was a very humbling experience. Watching landmark projects such as Ford Field being created was amazing!
After earning my degree, getting married and raising my three wonderful children, I'm enjoying freelancing in Metro Detroit, Southwest Michigan and throughout the Midwest. Whether it's simply rearranging a client's existing pieces, organizing the home to function more efficiently, or starting a space from floor plan to paint finish . . .
I love what I do.
