Computer Services Of Michigan
About
This family venture started back in August of 1993 when Ray & Maureen began working together for a Telephony company in Ferndale.
In Addition to providing Voicemail for South East Michigan, they fought for fair competition and a Level Playing Field for other Local Phone Carriers and acted as consultants in the writing of the 1996 Telecommunications Act. They were also invited to speak to the State Senate about Competition.
Frustrated by the Local Monopoly's refusal to play fair and the acceptance of this practice by the new Phone companies, they realized that the 'Tele' in Telephony meant nothing and 'phony' were the claims & promises made by the Telco's. This was no place for honest people.
So Maureen, with management and customer service background and Ray, 100% Tech, having built his 1st computer in the 5th grade, merged their talents and interests into forming
Computer Services of Michigan LLC
In 1997 they relocated to the fine city of Royal Oak. There they have become the neighborhood
Mom & Pop Computer Shop.
