What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Shop around, most places charge a lot of money to get a deck stained. It really does not cost that much.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Really what type of stain they would like. Also the kinds of epoxy they would like to have on there garage floor. Some epoxy coatings can cost a lot of money but you get what you pay for.
