Howdy, My name is Curtis

I’m an independent handyman and contractor with around 15 years of hands-on experience in home repair, maintenance, renovation, carpentry, mechanical work, and troubleshooting.

I grew up in the trades and started working on job sites at a young age. Since then, my experience has expanded into everything from finish carpentry, doors, flooring, drywall, painting, cabinetry, and exterior projects to electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, HVAC-related work, drainage, insulation, and general property maintenance.

I’ve also worked professionally in field service, equipment installation, engineering change management, reliability, and continuous improvement. I’ve always been someone who wears many hats, which is ultimately what led me here. After years of working across different trades, industries, and roles, I decided to slow things down and put that broad experience to work by starting my own handyman venture.

What I enjoy most is solving problems. I’m the guy who wants to understand why something failed before simply replacing it. A lot of home repairs overlap multiple trades, and having experience across different areas helps me find practical solutions instead of treating every problem as an isolated issue.

I’m especially particular about the details people interact with every day: doors should close correctly, trim should fit properly, repairs should look intentional, and something I fix shouldn’t become the same problem again six months later.

How I Work:

I’m a sole proprietor, so you’re dealing directly with the person doing the work—not a salesperson or a rotating crew.

I believe in explaining what I find, giving homeowners realistic options, and doing the repair that makes sense for the situation. I don't believe every problem needs the most expensive solution, and I don't believe in replacing something that can be properly repaired.

My goal is pretty simple: do solid work, leave things better than I found them, and become the person you call when something around the house needs to be figured out.
