What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Processes vary from service to service. For a quick and easy quote on lawn cutting or snow removal, customers can call, email, message, or come through the website.
For design build projects, or anything that is trickier than an easy job, the process is different. It usually starts with a conversation either via email or phone, then a meeting in person, then a written estimate, and can vary from there depending on whether a client wants a design or not. After we come to an agreement, a deposit is paid by the client, the work is done, and the final bill is paid upon completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner has 21 years of professional "boots on the ground" experience in the industry. He came from operations at a fortune 500 landscaping company into residential sales, then commercial sales, and then management. The sales manager has over 40 years of experience and also came up through the ranks from operations, to sales, to management. The operations manager has 22 years as an operations manager for another firm. The office manager has experience managing 100 people's schedules at a large bakery, as well as a finance background and is incredibly organized.

Yes we have a standard pricing system but we couldn't divulge that here. It's the secret recipe!
How did you get started in this business?
The owner came up through operations at a multi billion dollar green industry company to sales and then management.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Every kind. From a little old lady in a subdivision in a 600 square foot house, to state universities, municipalities, apartment complexes and multi million dollar landscape installations.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We built a $140,000 outdoor kitchen and entertainment space for a high ranking executive at Dominos Pizza.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should look at sites and see the reviews. They don't lie. Use sites like Yelp, Angie's List, and Home Advisor. Make your selections after you have vetted your contractor.
