At G3 Services, we pride ourselves on repairing and maintaining small engines efficiently, effectively, and for a reasonable price. When not working on mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other engines, we're available to haul your unwanted items, either to recycling(preferred) or the landfill. We're relatively new to the field, but are gaining experience and enjoy solving new problems that we haven't seen before.
In addition to repairing small motor equipment, we sometimes have equipment to trade or sell, so if you think you might be in the market for some used equipment, let us know and we can discuss what is available.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process would be to contact customer via their preffered method and discuss their needs. We'll gather as much information up front regarding the service needed so that we can try to provide an up front estimate. In some cases, this won't be possible, but we'll try our best. If the customer would like to proceed, we'll arrange pickup/dropoff time and provide an expected timeline for the service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mostly hands on tinkering experience, along with a small engine maintenance and repair course.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For mower and small engine service(blowers, trimmers, snow blowers, riding mowers, etc...) the costs will generally be the cost for the parts, plus $25 labor for most jobs. Some jobs may be $50 for labor, but we'll provide this expectation up front at the time of arranging service.
For hauling, it really depends on what is in the load. If we can recycle some or all of it, the cost will be greatly decreased. The landfill charges by the ton, so if we can keep items out of the landfill(metal, other recyclables), we'll do our best to reduce the weight of the load.
How did you get started in this business?
We've started during the COVID-19 down time as a way to learn and earn a little money while getting our hands dirty.
What types of customers have you worked with?
At this point, we've working with neighbors and others in Catonsville, Baltimore, and Ellicott City areas. All customers at this point have been residential in nature. We're hoping to expand with perhaps some lawn care companies needing repairs and maintenance on their equipment.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My son found an old 50cc scooter at a friends house that had been sitting out in the elements for years. He recently got his hands on it and brought it back to life.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be as clear as you can in your expectations, and make sure that you and the service provider have a common understanding of those expectations.
