With 25 years of professional experience I can rapidly develop a design program (list of needs and wants), evaluate the existing conditions: site, house, zoning, etc. I next prepare multiple pencil sketches illustrating potential design solutions, then after client review I prepare CAD drawings in full color and 3D for design approval.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact by email and phone. Discuss project goals location, details, timing, services requested, fees, etc. Based on potential client architect chemistry proceed to 2 hr. on site Design Consultation meeting. I would then prepare Design Program, present potential design solutions, work up a project feasibility cost projection, architectural scope of work fee proposal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Architecture Cal Poly San Luis Obispo CA 1973, Licensed CT architect 1982, International studies Copenhagen Denmark 1972, work for major architecture firms in Hartford: Jeter Cook and Jepson, Moser Pylon Nelson, DuBose Assoc., Vinick Assoc., etc.
I have been self employed with my office in Stafford Springs for the last 25 years. My list of completed projects is vast and varied numbering in the hundreds.
I have design build relationship with a dedicated general contractor who has constructed 20 plus of my designs. This one source responsibility offers fast turn around, quality workmanship, and cost transparency.
