Thats easy. Job satisfaction.. painting is the most visual of all trades. I enjoy customer reactions when they see the finished product. I really do. Proper painting yields such amazing results at comparitively minimal costs for the improvements. Clients gain a lot for their investment. - as far as how their property appears both inside and out.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to walk through your project if possibly but, its not mandatory as people lead busy lives. Photos or a description over the phone can often provide the info I need, then I email an itemized estimate -no obligation. I also offer free consultation with color layouts as Im formally trained in interior design.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Im formally trained by Tri-County tech, have taking course in using new none VOC products with Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. Im lead certified and gained years of experience working for two other companies before embarking on my own.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I price by the room and can break down cost by labor vs material, ceiling vs trim etc.
How did you get started in this business?
I started by painting my grandmothers garage when I was in high school.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types and classes of folks. We work with high end properties to low income. We work with realtors with time contraints to on-going projects with processes. 90% of my clients are repeat customers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask for references and proof of insurance. Posessing HIC (MA home improvement contractor)cert is a plus.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I would advise thinking through your colors. Paint or have your painter apply several samples of your favorite colors right on the related walls. Colors are very important and can make all the difference combined with some clean proffesional prep. Its a huge plus when a client is really happy with the color choices. Its an extension of you and reflects your good taste ;). I also advise going a shade lighter as the chart will usually come across less dramatic than it will look when covering an entire room. Ive worked with countless interior designers and can help if requested at no extra charge.
