Melinda was professional, prompt and extremely thorough! As we walked through the house for our first cleaning service with DFK, She explained everything that she would be doing and how. We also have a dog that she was comfortable with being in the house while she cleaned.
When I came home, the house was immaculate and smelled amazing. Literally nothing was left unturned or untouched and yet everything was put back clean and organized! There were fun touches in our sons room. We were beyond happy with our service and cant wait to have regular cleaning service with DFK.

Frequently asked questions

Working with a new customer is a privilege and my goal is to provide them the best service possible. In order to do that we need to discuss needs, wants, expectations to ensure we are the right match for each other. Open, honest, and respectful communication is a must. An initial walk through of home can happen prior to 1st clean or on the scheduled 1st clean day. I leave this up to the customer based on their needs and wants. From their we establish plans moving forward for future cleans. No new customer is locked into a contract until they decide my service meets their expectations

Just started my LLC in August 2021. Prior to I worked in Portland,  Maine area for a cleaning company for 2yra. I was trained by the owner and quickly took on a lead role based on my desire to learn and grow. I have enjoyed providing these services so much once I relocated to Massachusetts I knew this was a perfect time to start my own cleaning business to further expand my passion for helping others in service

Price ranges: my minimum is $120 - $450 per clean depending on size of house/type of clean (deep/standard/extras) for clients on a routine schedule. For 1 time cleans for moving in or out $200 for 3hrs then $45per hr. To start off I will be working by myself.

For each clean the entire residence is Dusted- dry or damp wipe down with cloth of all surfaces. Vacuuming- HEPA backpack vacuum used with all attachments for lamp shades, couches, walls, vents, etc. If you desire I use your vacuum not a problem Mopping - product depends on your floors and preferences since there are so many types of surfaces (tile, wood, linoleum, etc) Bathrooms - scrub all surfaces, outside of cabinets always done, vacuum and mop Kitchens - wipe down all surfaces, outside of cabinets wiped down, outside of oven (deep clean needed for inside), stove top, grates wiped down, microwave inside and out each clean, any lights dusted and wiped down , refrigerator outside done (inside wipe down can occur each clean if discussed or full clean inside would be considered a deep clean), any kitchen appliances on countertops wiped down Throughout the house wipe downs if needed- Lightswitch plates, walls, doors, baseboards. Extra services if desired for each clean- beds being made, laundry, kitty litter, dishwasher (load/unload) Speciality services -carpet cleaning and windows can be discussed for a deep clean. Hopefully I didn't miss anything. If you don't see something and want to inquire, feel free to ask

A little background about myself. I was a supervisor at a group home for female teenager girls in Philadelphia for 16yrs. I decided to make a career change in order to be a more present mom to my son. The need for flexibility and less stress were a must. Cleaning was part of what I taught the girls in my care as well as part of our responsibilities as staff to maintain a clean environment. Quite frankly I have always enjoyed cleaning at home or at work. Once I started the cleaning services for work I knew this was what I wanted to do. I didn't want to limit myself to working for someone but desired to learn the business before starting my own company.

I've worked with all types of customers. From studio apartments to 6000 square ft homes. Each customer gets the same level of service each and every clean.

Due to relocating from Maine to Massachusetts this summer (due to getting married) I had to say goodbyes to customers. Being in some of their homes for 2yrs you get to know them well,  customers become more like family. Though this is not one example, these farewells were bitter sweet and will stay with me as they all wished me the best on continuing to do what I enjoy doing for others.

Seek someone out that is open to feedback on how they can be better. I always tell customers if they aren't happy about anything with the service neither am I. Open, honest,  and respectful communication is a must

A customer should know what they want from the service regarding products, pricing range, supplies pro provides (if any), if pro is insured, flexibility with days/ times,  comfort level with leaving pro in their home alone. These are just a few things to think about.
