A4 Architecture is an award-winning, full-service professional architecture firm providing high quality design work to the residential, commercial and institutional markets of RI, MA, CT and NY. We are well trained and experience in new construction, building renovation, historic preservation, sustainable design and adaptive resuse to name just a few of our areas of expertise.
We take great pride in taking the challenges that surround construction, including context, budget, zoning, and building code requirements, and turning those challenges into beautiful, long lasting buildings that will sertve their owners and communities for many decades.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We interview the customer to learn about their project, make sure we are a good fit and then we send a proposal for their approval.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold degrees from Yale, Cambridge and Columbia Universities, have been a licensed architect since 1992 and am a member of the American Institute of Architects since 1993.

We bill at hourly rates that are fairly typically of our industry in the immediate geography.
How did you get started in this business?
I studied Architecture at Yale College, earned a Master of Architecture degree and have been a practicing architect in RI, CT, MA or NY for thirty years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We like working with clients who understand the value we bring to them as professional architects and who have high standards for their homes and builidngs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
