G.P. Technologies, Inc. / The Computer Doctor
About
I am able to solve problems that other technicians are left scratching their heads about. I have kept up with technology since 1991 and have never stopped learning and implementing new systems, operatiing systems and network technology. I can usually assess a problem quickly and efficiently.
I enjoy solving problems and making technology more user freindly and accessible to everyone. I do not speak over people's heads and confuse them with computer jargon. I like to have a good rapport with my customers, some of whom I have been with for 25 years in the Boston area.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to the person first and explain your problems. Don't let them talk you into expensive upgrades that are not needed at the moment. It's best to wait until new technologies shake out in the market to let the bugs get worked out before implementing them in your business. Know what you want to achieve and let your technician know what you'd like to do. chances are there is a good solution for your needs that it simple and available now.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Know what systems you own and what kind of network you have in advance. If you use PC's or Mac's - and what kind of peripherals are important to your business. Sometimes it may be a special printer or monitor that you need. There are so many emerging technologies happening every day. You need someone willing to do some research for your best solution.
