How did you get started in this business?
I've been in the construction industry for over 20 years, and along the way, I discovered a true passion for painting and flooring. There’s just something incredibly satisfying about transforming a space and seeing the impact quality work can have on a home. What started as a part of the job quickly turned into something I genuinely love to do. That passion is what led me to start J's Painting & Flooring—so I could focus on the work I enjoy most and help customers bring their vision to life with professional, reliable service.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We’ve worked with a wide range of customers—from homeowners needing small residential updates to large commercial clients with complex, multi-phase projects. Whether it's repainting a single room, refinishing cabinets, or handling a full-scale commercial renovation, we tailor our services to fit each customer's needs. No job is too big or too small, and we take pride in delivering quality results for every type of client.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One recent project that really stands out was helping a young couple transform their first home. They had big dreams but a tight budget, so we worked closely with them to choose the right colors, materials, and finishes that would bring their vision to life without breaking the bank. Seeing their reaction when the job was finished—smiles, excitement, and even a few happy tears—was a great reminder of why we do what we do.
