Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to meet and discuss the issue or problem that a customer is having. I will make an educated diagnosis of the issue and provide a verbal and written estimate of required work to be done. I will always contact the customer if my diagnosis was wrong and/or if I find other things wrong that need attention while I am working on their equipment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold Master Technician certifications with all of the major engine manufacturers. I also have attended service and update training classes for many of the thirty years that I have been in this industry.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All work that I do will be estimated prior to actual work being completed. I want the customer to know what they are looking at expense wise and when they can expect the repairs to be completed.
How did you get started in this business?
I started out working in a small hardware store in western Kentucky.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done work for all types of customers. Commercial, Residential and Industrial.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Try to find someone that is honest and dependable. Someone with vast knowledge and experience in the industry. Someone that will treat you the same way that they would want to be treated.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What does it cost to have you look at or diagnosis my problem? What do you charge to make the repair? Do you stand behind your work?
