About

We have 20 years of experience with all aspects of new ground-up construction, land development, design development, municipal variance and permitting, partial/whole house remodels as well as other residential projects and light commercial construction.

We have never been litigated by any client, sub-trade or vendor nor have we had to litigate any client, sub-trade or vendor. We are fully insured as are any sub-trades we bring in. Any/all W2 employees are insured as well.

We transform un-used, unimpressive spaces into a vision of design and function. I have some of the best design professionals and trade-partners in the Fox Valley area.

109 Grove in Glen Ellyn, IL is searchable on the web. It was a custom one-off single family I developed on an in-fill lot. I designed many of the layout elements as well as all of the interior selections.

Are they a legal entity in Illiniois?

We are Illinois Sec. of State #02341611 since '07.

Do they carry Commercial Lines insurance coverage?

We do, 2 million in aggreate coverage.

Do they know how to write a sub-trade scope of work?

We do, I write a General Conditions for every project that     all trades must sign.

How do they insulate themselves and the client from Risk of Loss?

I have every trade partner sign a Hold Harmless        Agreement as well as having us names as additional    insureds on their insurance policy for the duration of work.

We also collect Lien Waivers from all paid trades/vendors to insure there is not an issue down the road.

The 'cheap' guy is cheap for a reason. Legitimate contractors doing the same work have the same basic costs; these folks are usually with 2-5% of eachother's numbers. There are some factors that change this but the super-cheap outfit is a problem waiting for an excuse. We are not the cheap guy nor are we the highest prices 'boutique' shop.
