About

I pride myself with great customer service. I have built by business around that skill and think it is key to having a successful business. It is one thing to understand somebody's problem, but to understand their frustrations and help them through it is the difference at White Box Computers.

I have always fixed computers for friends and family. Something about electronics just fascinated me. My mother tells stories from before I can even remember about how I used to take things apart as a child and put them back together. I eventually went on to get a degree in Electronic Engineering. After consideration I decided to go into business for myself and in 2005, White Box Computers was officially born.

Frequently asked questions

I always talk with them about their issue over them phone. Sometimes the problem is easily solveable and no service is needed. If service is needed, I will schedule an appointment that works for both of us.

I have a degree in Electronic Engineering as well as almost two decades of experience and out of the box methods to attack a computer problem head on.

Yes. I have an hourly rate and a set price for each service I perform (i.e. Virus Removal or Printer Installation). If any service doesn't fall into one of the services I offer, then it defaults to the hourly rate. For instance tutoring on software or lost a file and need help finding it.

All different types from residential to small and large businesses. I have installed point of sale computer systems and security cameras for large restaurant chains and I have many lawyers and doctors as clients also. I mainly try to stick to residential. I think it's the area I do my best work in as it fits my personality best. I can relate to my clients on a better level.

Not really a recent project but more of a recent customer. I've had a wonderful customer for many many years who recently passed away. Her name was Lenore. Just a sweet lady. I always gave her a great rate because I knew she didn't have a lot to spend. But she needed her computer to order prescriptions and keep in touch with doctors and family. After passing away I got a letter saying I was put in her will and I would be receiving a check soon. I was very surprised when I saw the amount. Someone who always thought about others even no longer with us, still was paying it forward. It brought a tear to my eye, not only because of this, but because I knew that I truly achieved my company motto. 'Where Service Is More Than Just A Word, It's A Commitment!'

DO NOT hire the cheapest guy/company. Just don't. I have had many people come

to me and I eventually find out they brought it somewhere else first. Most of them try to leave that part out to save face. Technicians can tell when a computer has been worked on most of the time and if someone is not knowledgeable, they can do more damage and cost you more money in the long run. It's funny, I've even had a customer call me while in a repair shop saying they had their computer all apart and they wiped out their windows and they can't put it back on unless she buys a copy of Windows from them for $200. This was a very well known repair shop that everyone has heard of. I will not mention the name. Needless to say, she has already paid them $200 for what they did and I told her my price of $150 to fix the problem. I think she was expecting me to do it for free. After a 30 min phone call she decided not to fix it.
