What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do not go for the lowest or highest prices!! Find someone local with great references. Big box stores tend to overcharge and give you sophomoric service. They also send your work out of state.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Be sure to take notes before calling, then, try to describe the issues best you can. Don't let someone bully you into bringing it to them. If they start to use too much techno-babble -- HANG UP!
