Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the customer and their spouse if necessary so I can get ideas from both of them as to what they want, not only in their landscaping or project ideas, but what they expect from their contractor/landscaper.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25 years of experience in the field and 6 years of owning my own company.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is fairly standard, but can vary from job to job depending on the work which the client wants done.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy being outdoors and working in the yard, whether it's my own yard or a clients yard. My goal is to take a yard and turn it into a portrait of beauty and a place my client can relax and enjoy coming home to.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had such a variety of customers over the last 6 years. I work with many different age groups of customers and have worked in the City of Atlanta and out in the country near Macon, Ga.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am fond of all of our projects we have completed because we take pride in all of our work. There have been projects which I have been more fond of than others, but each project is as important as the other regardless of the size.
Most projects take 3-5 days to complete, but I have had projects that have taken 2-3 weeks to finish.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I could give a potential client is to ask the contractor for references. Once you receive those references, call and speak to them and ask questions such as - Did he meet your timeline and budget? Was he open to changes before during or after the project? Was he honest and were his employees honest?
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think about what you want and stick to it. Don't let the contractor change your mind if you truly want something. Listen to his ideas and see how they can fit into your ideas. Think about your budget and timeline of completing the project.
