Groom Your Pooch
About
My service stands out to my customers because I provide caring, individual grooming needs to all. I have been grooming for about 2 years now and enjoy every minute of it. I treat all fur babies as if they were my own and care about what is best for them before anything else.
I enjoy meeting new fur babies the most out of everything. Every dog/cat is different with many different personalities. Also meeting the owners of these babies and being able to build a relationship with them is a great feeling.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically just try to get to know them as much as possible. I like having normal conversations as if i have known you forever. I am a huge people person so I enjoy conversations and bonding over fur babies. Also, building a relationship with a dog is the most important part. I try not to approach first, and let them approach me. I want them to feel safe and comfortable while they are around me. I talk to them and pet them just to let them know it is going to be just fine!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked at petsmart grooming for about 2 years. I gained all of my knowledge from there and am now putting it to my own use. (tired of having to spilt money with petsmart)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My prices vary on the size of your pooch. Bigger dogs are a little more expensive then the smaller dogs. Dogs that are matted up, depending on how bad the mats are, makes the price go up. Depedning on the behavior of your dog (biting, or anything making it almost impossible to complete my services) their will be an charge for a special handling fee. I also incorportate gas commute into my service pricing system.
How did you get started in this business?
My passion in life as always been animals. I have always been an animal lover, and my hope is to one day accomplish my dream of becoming a Veternarian. I started working at petsmart and became a groomer and have loved it ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all different types of customers. I've worked with some of the best customers. I have had a few bad customers, but who doesn't. I have enjoyed creating a bond with each and every one of them!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm not sure if this counts, but i am fond of the Kentucky derby! Those are definitily some intense races.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always be firm and make sure the groomer understands exactly what you want done. Be around to watch just to make sure everything is going smoothly.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should definitly think about all the pre-existing/ exisiting conditions their dog has. Dog with certain conditions must be taken into consideration just to make sure there is no accidents. Also, customers to remember, i am not a magician. Some cases where a dog is so matted to the skin, i will not do because it is not safe to do, must be taken to a vet.
