About
We believe in partnering with our clients to help their business succeed. Our no contract, pay as you go, call us when you need us approach allows us to provide our clients with what they need without locking them into a restrictive contract. Our belief is that clients are willing to pay for what they need; and our goal is to help them focus on their core business while we keep their technology operating at peak performance.
My passion for IT goes back to the mid - 1980's where I started building computers and servers. My knowledge and experiences over the past 30 years in IT gives me a perspective that helps our clients get their problems solved quickly.
I was an engineer in the telecommunications industry until 2001. I started AVS Computer Services following my passion and love for computers.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usaually have an introduction call where we discuss the problem and how we plan to solve it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians have at least a Network + certification and we hold many other certifications from our partners such as Dell, Ciscom Microsoft & others.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Standard service - $95 per hour (virus removal, cleanup, etc)

After hours (after 6pm or weekends) $120 per hour.
How did you get started in this business?
I built my 1st computer in 1984 and that was where I got my start in computers. This was before Windows so everything was done at the command prompt and you really had to know what you were doing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with customers of all sizes. Such as McDonalds and Bank of America, but we always remember where we got our start. So, yes we still proudly serve home computer users as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We sponsor a lot of events but this year we are proud to sponsor events at a local high school here in the Atlanta area.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a pro that takes the time to learn what your needs are. If they are too busy to listen then they probably don't deserve your business.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. How much will an estimate cost?
2. Is it cheaper to just replace the machine / device?
3. How long will the repair take?
