When I meet a client for the first time, I will ask them to please give me a walk through of their home. During this time I ask them to point out any specific areas or tasks that they would like me to focus on, as well as if there are any rooms or areas they specifically do not want me to work in. I typically use this time to ask about cleaning product preferences, or if there are any chemicals they do not want used in their homes. After the initial meet and greet with new clients and tour of their homes, I like to begin working immediately.

  Clients are welcomed to stay and supervise as I work, or they are free to come and go as they please. I take pride in being a trustworthy and diligent service provider in all circumstances. I appreciate any feedback from clients, good or bad; and I strive to make sure lines of communication are always open. If there is a complaint or something unsatisfactory in the clients eyes, I earnestly would like to know because it then becomes an opportunity to redeem myself and a guide map to becoming a better service provider and business owner. It should go without saying that compliments and positive reviews are always received with pride and gratitude. 

I began cleaning professionally over five years ago. During this five year span I have worked a variety of different types of cleanings. My first ever cleaning position was at an Urgent Care Medical Facility. I have also cleaned on environmentally biohazardous job sites, construction sites, and demolition sites. I have accumulated the most expirience cleaning for residential homes and housekeeping for local Bed and Breakfasts. Athens HomeMaid also provides maintenance and minor repairs for local home owners. I have approximately 6 or 7 years worth of experience working as an apprentice underneath several established craftsmen and carpenters. I really enjoy any "handyman" job requests and find myself especially eager for these types of tasks.
