Outside Landscape Group provides a custom approach to Design Build. As Landscape Architects, we want to cater our programs to match the client's visions and wish list. From there a Plan is created whereby the program and concept are aligned with the existing site conditions. The plan not only becomes the visual aid of what will be built, but it also allows us to value engineer the project for the best pricing possible. Our projects are consistently constructed on budget and on time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial contact starts with a brief phone conversation so the client can share their project scope, relative information about their site and their location within the Metro Atlanta area. After sharing some thoughts on the scope and how we can help, the next step is to schedule an on-site visit. There, we will share ideas and realistic budget ranges associated with the Client's vision. Upon being selected as your landscape consultant, we start all projects with a fee base design presentation which allows us to conduct a Site Analysis of your site so we can better understand the existing drainge, contours, shade & sun angles and overall screening opportuinities. Upon gathering the site information, an inventory is conducted and the pertinent existing elements are measured to create a base plan. From there a scaled rendering will be prepared and presented along with a detailed proposal outlining the project scope.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed Landscape Architect (BLA) in Georgia and Louisiana. Experienced in Residential design, Commercial properties, residential communities, golf course design, pools, outdoor patios, retaining walls, grading, etc.

Most of our project start in the 7K range and up. From small landscape make overs to large residential master planning and implementation.
How did you get started in this business?
Received a BLA from Lousiana State University.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My experience has allowed me to work with a large range of clients from private home owners, land developers and other professionals such as Architects, Engineers, Surveyors, etc.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had the privledge of working with a non profit organization for special needs children and young adults. We crated a one of a kind space for them to enjoy their activities and class work outside. The space itself can be accessed year around and included wheel chair accessibility throughout. Elements of the design included: artificial turf, pathways, arbor, excercise area, interactive garden, butterfly garden and a boradwalk deck over view to a picnic area. This out of the box thinking was a big hit with the children as well as the supporters, staff and volunteers.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Not all projects are built the same and not all companies operate under the same process. Get to know the process and look for the right fit. Outside Landscape Group offers the design & educational background along with the construction experience that you are looking for.
