Jay was professional and did a good job with estimates and getting materials to complete my job. He did an excellent job turning my sand pit of a yard into an oasis we can enjoy. I would recommend Jay for landscape work and especially irrigation work which he specializes in.

Jay came out to my place and did a fantastic job. Was very knowledgeable about all aspects of lawn and irrigation work. Price was reasonable and work was 1st rate. I will definitely be hiring for other needs.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I inform the customer of my observations and give them my recommendations. I normally don't give a quote on the spot. I prefer to let the homeowner get back to what they were doing before I got there. That gives me time to go do my research in order to give them the best possible price available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in landscaping and lawn maintenance the majority of my life
I'm PMG certified in Stormwater Reduction through the EPA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I determine my prices after comparing with Homeguide, Angie, Home Advisor, & Fixer. Then I reduce the cost til I feel comfortable that the customer is getting a fair price and I'm still getting paid. That's how I can keep my prices the lowest.
How did you get started in this business?
I started as a young man cutting grass and installing landscapes and sod for other employers. As years went by and so did employers, I learned more and more from each boss that I had, until eventually, I just got tired of doing all of the work for a peice of the paycheck. I'm a firm believer that a person should get paid what they are worth and nothing less. So I decided it was time for me to take that leap of faith and show my son that you can do anything you put your mind to.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've done countless jobs for too many people from all walks of life.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The price of the project. Know the high's and low's to see where the quotes you get stand in comparison to the national average.
