I have always enjoyed learning about how things work. Once I did, it wasn't a big step to correcting things that were broken. It gives me pleasure to be able to do it and it makes my customers happy too. I worked on "big iron" (IBM mainframes) for years but now work on PCs and PC networks and peripheral devices exclusively.
My focus is on Windows computers and networks for home and business users. I prefer to not work on Apple computers. I enjoy fixing things and solving technical problems for people.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call to get acquainted and define the problem and repair process allows us to set an appointment and move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained myself during my entire career by reading technical articles and books and tearing computers apart and returning them to full function or making them better. My primary focus has been Windows computers.

For on-site residential clients my rate is $60/hour. For commercial clients, the rate is $100. Telephone or remote access support is $50.
