What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Asking questions is important about the work they want. Then I can think of different scenarios and discuss the ideas. Drawing sketches to help the customer understand the scope of the work. Some customers need visuals, and sketching. Drawings help. Explaining the process of a job also helps the customer to understand. Discussing the job sometimes brings out an unexpected issue the potential customer may not have been aware of.
