At the beginning of 2021 I retired as a Hospice chaplain. But, it is impossible for me to do nothing. My daughter reminded me of a conversation we had a long time ago. The conversation was about how we will remember our parents. My children said they will remember me as the dad who could fix anything! And so, Handyman Gabe was born!
My preference is to work all by myself. In that way I can deliver the best quality of work, and I don’t have to offer apologies for the mess someone else made. You have the additional benefit of not having several strangers on your property. When I need additional help, I will ask a trusted friend to come help me.
You will probably by this time realize that I am not into getting rich. My pricing will be fair.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Preferably you will text or email me and leave your call back information. (Too many spam calls, right?) We can arrange for a meeting where you can show me everything you want done. I will be very honest with you if I am prepared to take up your project or not.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh, the joys of being a home owner! I developed and built homes for my family. I am equipped to do most of the things handymen are allowed to do. No, I am not a contractor, plumber or electrician. I will offer you referrals in those departments!
