Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you call we will set up a prompt appointment and get some basic information about your machine and what problem you are experiencing so we can provide the best and quickest service possible
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an appliance repair certification from manatee technical college and years of experience doing service calls and training other technicians
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Service call is $75 which includes diagnostics and any small quick repairs. If your unit need parts and further work then we charge additional flat rate labor plus parts but you don't pay another service call. A typical repair will end up costing around $115 -$145 service call and labor plus whatever parts are needed.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If you are looking for a appliance service provider make sure they are up front and honest about their cost for service. Many companies say they wave the service fee or they have hidden diagnostic charges these are gimmicks and just sound good over the phone. Find a professional who is up front and honest about their pricing and doesn't surprise you halfway through the repair
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
One common issue I have seen is electronic problems due to power blinks or outages. The first thing to do before calling an appliance technician is find the units plug or circuit breaker and try unplugging the unit or turning off the circuit breaker. Wait approximately one minute and turn it back on. This will solve some simple electronic issues due to power fluxuations.
