Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We look forward to working with customers that have clear expectations on what services are needed/desired for their lawn or area. A customer that is responsive in a timely manner to any questions prior to and during services provided.
How did you get started in this business?
At the age of 12 this was the only type of work that was permissible (smile). It developed as a passion over time and has been the only type of work that truly makes me feel fulfilled and sustained.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have had the privilege of working with all types of customers. Our clientele has ranged from one-time projects to on-going services. Small residential customers, gated communities, apartment complexes to vacant lots.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
A recent project that was enjoyable was a redesign on a flowerbed. The project was only a small part of the larger work requested for this customer, however the redesign allowed for creativity on our part. We are of course able to follow explicit orders and/or meet requests to "pick out what might work in that area best" type orders.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure the company is licensed and insured. Request a written, detailed agreement on what work is to be completed prior to the work beginning. You should expect a no-cost, no obligation estimate.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is this a one-time or on-going request?
How much time will the customer save by hiring a professional?
What is a realistic range for the budget of the project?
