Make sure you are getting good VALUE for your service. Cheap prices aren’t always a good value, and a higher price CAN be a good value. If a customer is quoted $25 for a mow, trim ,edge and blow that sounds ok right? Well what if the next provider charges $35 but pulls weeds from beds, trims hedges monthly, and provides a monthly micronutrient spray? Which is the better value? This depends on your specific needs and wants.

This is one of the cases you don’t always get what you pay for. Some providers may give you a cheaper price than another company, but take shortcuts (not removing leaves from lawn, cutting your lawn with dull blades, using large equipment and mowing the same pattern every time creating ruts) to save time that could end up costing you thousands of dollars to repair in the long run. Or you could assume a higher priced provider will give you better service because you get what you pay for right? Not always! Ask EXACTLY what they are going to do on your property, and if there is something you want done that isn’t mentioned, ASK! A higher price doesn’t always mean you’re getting more.
