At Step by Step Painting and Remodeling we take the time to listen to each customers request, questions and ideas. With our companies experienced contractor and employees there is no project out of our companies scope of work. We go over the project step by step with the customer so they know what to expect and we keep them involved throughout the project so they know exactly what’s going on.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process usually starts with first speaking with the customer(usually in person) to get an idea of what the customer wants do for their project this may include showing the customer different ideas and providing them with insight, especially the ones that are unsure with what they may want. Next, we finanlize the project quote, the customer is given a written estimate that outlays what work is to be completed. The first deposit is paid and the project commences.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Several years of home remodeling and painting experience as well as home construction and licensed and insured general contractor.

How did you get started in this business?
My stepfather owns a construction business so I have been around and involved with painting, home improvement and construction for many years. I started as a project manager with his company which inspired me to start my own company.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently completed a project which was a complete fix and flip and my company oversaw the entire project which resulted in the owner being able to do a quick sale with a high sale price because the buyer loved the house remodel.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk with the professional and see what they can offer you, make sure both of you are on the same page, look for pictures of previous work done, if you both agree on price and they make you feel comfortable then make a decision.
