What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with clients to discuss vision and desires and then take measurements. We draw up a plan and proposal and then meet with clients again to go over proposal. Once closed we collect a deposit and place the clients on the schedule. Once the job starts we are on the job site daily until completion. Once we finish the job, we complete a final walk through with the client to insure their 100% complete satisfaction. It is customary that we collect final payment upon the final walk through.

How did you get started in this business?
Started in 1994 as an irrigation contractor after graduating from college. Developed into full service landscape design, irrigation, landscape lighting and sod installation company. Haves served the southwest Florida area for 26 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We are a design build contractor and we work on jobs from $5000 to above $100,000. We are SW Florida's Premier Designer of dramatic color and fragrance.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We just completed a $100,000 job in the Gated Veranda Golf Course Community where we removed the sod, landscaping and irrigation and replaced it all including installing a paver pathway and landscape lighting.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you work with a contractor that has extensive experience in Florida landscaping. Amending the soil is essential in Our area so don't go with a contractor who fails to amend the soil. Make sure your contractor understands the right place to install a plant and when not to. Look for a contractor the also provides in house irrigation service rather than subbing it out. Find someone who will be hands on and be onsite during the process!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Determine your budget beforehand so your landscaper knows to what extent he must draw your plan.
Do you want to top dress your beds with decorative stone or mulch?
Know what types of trees you want(I.e. palm trees, flowering trees or a combination).
