The owner of On Q Land Services, decided to branch off from the company he was working at to take on his own projects and clients. There had been so much "side work" at that time, that he felt it would be in his best interest to start his own company and leave the job he was at because he just didn't have enough time to do both. He really enjoys communicating and building relationships with our clients. He trys to get to know everyone that he is working with, in order to better understand their needs and wants, regarding  their outdoor space.

The best way to ensure a smooth service

Our ultimate goal at On Q is to provide you with quality service and satisfaction. Following these simple steps allows us to work efficiently and ensure your home receives the best clean possible.

How to prepare for your upcoming housecleaning:

  • Before your team arrives for your scheduled cleaning, please remove clutter so we can effectively clean all surfaces – this includes clothing, kids’ toys, and dishes in the kitchen sink.
  • Find a good spot for your pets so they’re safe and secure while we clean.
  • Put out clean sheets on each bed if we’ll be changing your linens.
  • If payment has not already been arranged, leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter.

While it’s important to declutter your home before we arrive, there’s no need to spend any time cleaning. You wouldn’t wash your car before taking it to a car wash, would you? Cleaning homes is what we do, after all. Leave the work to us.

What to expect before the clean

Before our cleaning team arrives, we’ll review the details of your cleaning plan. Most customers are either at work or busy with other plans when we clean, so it's quite common for them to provide us with their garage code or a spare key. We cross-reference all house keys for added security, but if you don't feel comfortable leaving us with a key or garage door code, please make sure someone is home during your scheduled cleaning time.

If something comes up that causes a conflict in your cleaning schedule, simply give us a call. We appreciate a 24-hour notice, but understand that some situations are unavoidable. When shorter notice is given, however, we may charge a small fee.

What to expect during the clean

We only hire caring workers who have the right to work in the United States. All of our professional housecleaners are required to undergo a comprehensive background check before joining our team and receiving extensive training in the On Q method of cleaning.

If you’re home when our cleaning professionals arrive, that’s great. Our team will happily work around you, allowing you to carry out your normal activities. If you’re not home, our team will dust, vacuum, and scrub while you're out going about your day.

Our teams complete work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. We arrive with industry-leading cleaning supplies, equipment, and a smile, ready to deliver an amazing clean. However, we also provide emergency cleaning services. We understand emergency situation arise that need immediate attention. To get immediate cleaning service (whether one of the kids got sick all over the bathroom, your pet had an accident all over the house while you were gone, or you just received a call that your family from Maine decided to take a drive down to Florida, and they're only 3 hours away & can't wait to surprise you, whatever the situation may be, we got your back. Because no two homes are the same, cleaning thoroughly sometimes means staying a little longer than usual to give a home some extra attention. Our teams spend the time needed to provide you with the best possible results.

Payment is requested at the time of the cleaning. Individual offices may have policies that vary, but generally we accept cash, checks, and credit cards.

If you ever want to update your service, we’d be happy to make the adjustments on your account, and those changes will be reflected in our team’s work on their next visit.

If we don’t meet your expectations, we’ll come back and fulfill our guarantee. Just notify us within 24 hours about any issue at all, including any oversight or misunderstanding regarding the execution of your cleaning plan.

If something is damaged during the course of a cleaning, we’ll make every effort to repair or, when necessary, replace the damaged item.

HOUSE CLEANING SERVICES

On Q, a Neighborly company, is closely monitoring COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its impact in our community. The health and safety of our customers and employees is our highest priority during this time. While we cannot control the severity or unpredictability of this virus, we can take preventive measures to limit the spread and impact of COVID-19. We are currently acting with prudence in our day-to-day operation with basic preventative safety measures following the guidance set forth by the U.S. Federal Government, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other health agencies, including:

  • Cleaning hands with soap often, for at least 20 seconds.
  • Using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
  • Keeping the recommended 6 feet from people.
  • Cleaning frequently touched surfaces.
  • Covering cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throwing tissue in the trash.
  • Staying home when sick.

We encourage our customers to let us know in advance of an appointment if there are any concerns or they would like us to take special precautions. We will continue to closely monitor the situation surrounding the COVID-19 coronavirus and act accordingly.

What we do:

  • In your home, our team uses a sanitizing solution to wipe down light switches, doorknobs, bathroom surfaces, and other commonly touched areas. We clean and sanitize your home using products that include certain Environmental Protection Association (EPA) registered disinfecting products and specific cleaning methods, such as mopping with microfiber mops, which have demonstrated a 99% reduction in bacteria.
  • We are telling our team members to switch out all cleaning cloths and mopheads between homes and thoroughly launder them between usage.
  • Our teams are instructed to wash hands everytime they switch their gloves & in between houses. Hand sanitizer is utilized, as well.
  • We are closely monitoring national, state, and local health agencies for the most recent developments and following the guidance of government and public health officials.
  • Our teams are provided with masks and gloves for use while cleaning your home.

How did you get started in this business?

Years ago, I started supplementing my income by helping a late family friend with her cleaning business. She had multiple time share account that I would help her with here and there. Eventually, I started cleaning her home for her and it just kind of took off from there.
