Keeping Fit Cleaning Service
About
I am an independent contractor/cleaner with a "style" while cleaning, but keeping fit at the same time.
I enjoy making the customers happy with where they live and work. Meeting new people, is always a plus. With everything going on with the virus, making someone smile and help take a load off of them, makes it rewarding for myself. I have been a neat-freak all my life. There is a place for everything. I like to help individuals get rid of things they don't need or want anymore. Been cleaning all my life, but for others, several months. Hope to meet you and help make your cleaning needs easier for your lifestyle. God Bless!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer contacts me directly, I set up a time when we both are available to go to their home and give them an estimate based on the size of the home/businerss and what services they need completed. Communicatiion is the most important aspect of the job so there are no misunderstanding or confusion. Verify with the customer before leaving exactly when, how much, time and date for services to be rendered. If the client is not going to be home, make sure they are given updates on the status when job is being performed. Send Pictures before and after of the service.
Always do pictures before and after, free estimates, private meeting before job to make them feel comfortable if they want my services; after all this is their home. Establish good rapore and learn to take constructive criticism sense it is their home and how they did or didn't like the services. Discuss what they want done in detail with the service I provide if they chose to have me back.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a neat-freak all my life and started cleaning parents home at early age; starting with my own room. I always felt things have a place, but a house needs to look and feel like a home as well. Training and education is not something I achieved related to learning how to clean. With that being said, I do have an associate degree in business management and marketing. I always took pride in my work. If your going to do something the first time, try and make sure it is done correctly.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I start out at $75 for basic cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting. However, if laundry, dishes, or appliance cleaning would be more. This is up to two hours. When you take the $75 and devide that by 2 Depending on the services needed and size of the home/business; prices will increase and that is part of getting the free estimate.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always been a busy-body; don't like to sit. I started the business due to the fact that I enjoy cleaning; is relaxing with music in my ear. Then I helped do foreclosure cleanouts, which is a lot of work cleaning and gutting it My dad was always into building home and cleaning them out, so I learned alot from them. I had the idea in my head for a few years and when I moved to DE and heard about the need for cleaners; it made me want it more, so I decided to go for it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Family, friends, friends of friends, clients from another contractor helping with clean up etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The advice I would give to a customer that is looking to hire a pro would be; make sure you get the services you paid for and to get a reciept of the itemized service performed. Always ask for experience and ask for their web-site if they have one, so you can look on their business page and see photos of their work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Depending on what they want done in their own or to their home, the questions are going to depend on what is actually being done. Example question would be: How long does this service take? Is it ok if I have you use my own cleaning supplies (depending on what is being done)? Do you have an references you can send me to speak with?
