Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically get customers who like to talk by phone or text. I also like to set up an appointment if possible to look at homes. We will go over the size of the home and also what kind of cleaning they are looking for. Is it a one time clean, ongoing scheduled clean, rental clean, personal house, construction clean, deep clean etc. I would then give a price and put you on the books for scheduled cleanings.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years of cleaning experience and I also currently go to school for my MBA in Business so I can run my business the best way I can.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No I do not have a standard price. It all depends on the type of clean. For example a deep clean is different then a regular clean, or a rental clean is different then a personal house. It also depends on the size of the home. For example a 2 bedroom would be less then a 5 bedroom.
How did you get started in this business?
I started cleaning as a housekeeper at motels when I was 15. I then worked for cleaning companies which I did not like how some owners and their employees treated clients. I realized I liked cleaning and making people happy. I also always wanted to own my own business, so in 2015 I did just that.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have cleaned for people at their personal houses, I have some clients who rent their properties out for the summer. I had a customer who just wanted a deep clean once a year, I did a move out clean for a gentleman in the Army. I have also done cleanings for clients when their personal cleaners are unavailable.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would make sure you can count on them. Make sure they give you a price before you decide to go with them. Lastly make sure they are licensed and insured.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What kind of clean do they need? Does the company supply cleaning supplies? Do you want to give them a key?
