Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask a few questions, then get a look at the equipment, which may take a couple days. We will give the customer a detailed explanation of what's wrong, and an accurate estimate. With customer approval, we do the repairs, and get the equipment repaired as quickly as possible
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A degree with EETC, and with over 20 years experience in small engine, 2 stroke and 4 stroke engine repair
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We try to provide an estimate free of charge, and only charge for the work being done. Occasionally, we do have to charge for a diagnosis, if it's an internal engine problem.
Tuneup for a small push mower is 59 dollars, for a riding tractor, 129.00
How did you get started in this business?
We ran a landscaping company for many years and did ask our own repairs. That led to additional training in engine repair, and eventually a business based on small equipment, mowers and small engine repair
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types, but much of our business is based on referrals and repeat business from very happy customers
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We offer discounts for retired individuals, military personnel, and discounts for new referrals
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check us out! We run a family business, and unlike some of these other repair facilities, we won't talk down to you, but will explain it all from start to finish. We promise it will be a great experience!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Be able to explain exactly what's wrong, and what happened or led up to the break down.
