About this pro

At Pears to Perennials, we share a passion for growing food in an ecologically responsible manner. We started as a seed-to-table company called Soe Harvest, focusing on helping clients with their veggie gardens. Growing food crops ended up being the tip of the iceberg (lettuce… ha-ha!). Our clients began to ask questions about their flowers and trees, so we expanded our offerings, and hired staff to help with the workload.

Vegetable gardens are one piece of a larger integrated landscape, and if you’re thinking about one part, you’re often thinking about all of it.  We continued working with our clients to create water-wise gardens and we added garden design and installation. We expanded our tree service to include non-fruit-bearing trees. Irrigation was the next practical step, and Soe Harvest started replacing sprinklers with drip systems, and other efficient watering methods.  We realized we weren't running a vegetable garden business anymore; it was a sustainable landscaping company.

In 2019, we changed our name to Pears to Perennials. The new name better reflects our expanded services.  We offer full service garden design, installation and maintenance, as well as irrigation and tree care. Our focus is still on helping people get the most out of their garden and making sure that our techniques work within the Colorado ecosystem. The methods we choose to grow plants matters.

In our off-season, we dedicate ourselves to learning how to be an eco-friendly business to serve our clients and staff better.  Professional development is one of several core values that we use to guide every decision.

We work in communities across the Denver metro area. We understand how elevation impacts your landscaping needs. Whether you live in a mountain community or in the plains, we can help plan and create landscapes with plants that thrive.

Not only did he do a great job, but offer reasonable advise based on both the physical state of the tree and the economics of resolving it. My neigbors also met him and had high praise as well.

They do wonderful work and they transformed my not-so-great looking patio into a space where I love spending time. They are also very environmentally aware and incorporate that philosophy into their work. Wonderful staff in the office and out in the job!
